Frequently
Asked
Questions.

How do I sign up?

Signing up is super simple! Head to our upcoming events page and click on the Shabbat dinner that you want a spot at! Get a seat at our table or join the waitlist! We can't wait to have you!

The event I want to attend says it's full, what do I do?

Ugh bummer! But it is pretty amazing to think so many people want to be together! Join the waitlist! And sign up for another upcoming dinner! Table spots drop periodically, so make sure to come and check back or follow us on socials for updates!

3

What is the RSVP / Attendance policy?

Because seating is limited and we often have a waitlist, attendance is expected once a spot is reserved. No-shows without notice take a seat from someone else who was ready to join and make new friends. We understand that things come up, but if you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so your spot can be given to someone on the waitlist who is ready to attend. Repeated no-shows or failure to communicate will result in being unable to attend future dinners. We’re building a community of friends, and showing up for each other matters, so just let us know if you can't come, so someone else can!

What is the waitlist policy?

Waitlist is first-come, first-served. Make sure to check your email as you will get an update from us if a spot has opened for an upcoming dinner you had been on the waitlist for. Please respond back promptly to confirm if you are still interested in attending or the spot may be offered to others on the list! Please also let us know if you no longer can make it so someone on the waitlist can have a chance to attend!

5

What is Chai Societys demographic?

Great question! Chai Society is for all Jews in their 20s (21 - 29 years to attend) who are looking to make connections over good conversations and yummy dinner! Come for lighting candles, stay for dinner, and leave with plans to come back!

6

Can I sign up every month?

While that does sound like so much fun, we want to give everyone a chance to get a seat at the table. We love to mix it up, so having a fresh flow of faces is a very important part of making our experience special! But if space is open, we would absolutely love to have you join us! We will prioritize switching things up so more people can join!

7

What are the costs?

There’s an $18 commitment fee for every event, a nod to chai, meaning life. This fee helps secure venues and supports the planning and coordination that go into creating each experience, along with a few fun surprises along the way. The commitment fee does not cover food or drinks and does not include admission, tickets, or entry fees for any pop-up events or locations we visit. It simply secures your spot.

At the restaurant or event, everyone orders what they want and pays and tips for what they get. No splitting checks, no group-bill stress, and no waiting for Venmo requests.

Restaurants will rotate across cuisines, neighborhoods, and price points so you can join when it excites you and skip when it doesn’t. Every event will take place at a Jewish-owned local business. Get something small or order the most expensive item; you do what works for you!

8

What Should I wear?

For our monthly dinner, an elevated night calls for a chic look, but there’s no pressure to overthink it! Come dressed in a way that feels authentic to you and makes the night even more fun! If you’re looking for inspiration, take a look at our past events gallery or head to our socials to see how others have styled their looks for the night.

For our Pop Up events, we will make sure to give a heads up on any planned activities so you can plan attire ahead!

Media / Pictures

From time to time, photos and short videos may be taken during our events and shared on social media or used for promotional purposes. If you’re not comfortable being photographed or posted, please let us know at any time. We can always remove any images you appear in and will make sure you’re not included in future photos.

Policy

The Twelve Tables Club is a curated community for women in their 20s. We ask that all guests arrive with kindness, openness, and respect for one another. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and included. For safety and community reasons, all attendees are verified prior to the event, and we reserve the right to decline or remove anyone who does not align with the spirit, values, or expectations of the club. If you reserve a spot at a table you are expected to attend, repeated no-shows or failure to communicate will result in being unable to attend future dinners. Commitment fees and any ticketed experiences are non-refundable.
